Himalayan Sauna & Hydrotherapy

Father Sebastian Kneipp, a 19th century Bavarian monk, is said to be
the father of hydrotherapy. There is a physiological basis to
hydrotherapy. Cold is stimulating, and it causes superficial blood
vessels to constrict, shunting the blood to internal organs. Hot water
is relaxing, causes blood vessels to dilate, and removes wastes from
body tissues. Alternating hot and cold water also improves
elimination, decreases inflammation, and stimulates circulation.

The Therapy Center opens 1st of March 2012 in Manali offering massage
therapies and cafeteria services etc. Sauna & Swimming Pool facilities
will be ready 1st of April 2012.

This Center is managed by Juha Hämäläinen (a massage therapist from
Finland) and Cinderella Andrade (from Bombay, India), who is certified
professional in Kalari, Yoga and Naturopathy.
